Veterans' Day

It is Veterans' Day .
I want to add my thank you to the men and women who have served and are serving in our armed forces. Pictured is my father who served in WWll. He did not talk about the war. He went to reunions of the men he served with.

A very handsome man indeed. But more than that is the heart in him and all the other men who gave up so much for all mankind.

add my name to the list who are grateful for what he and all did for us all.

May their souls rest in the peace and glory of Our Lord.

Handsome man betty and another of the brave men who fought and gave their lives for our freedom. Today I watched the service for Remembrance Day, seeing all those wonderful people marching past the memorial, how great their sacrifice, we must always be thankful and we must always remember.

Thanks for sharing about your dad he's a very handsome man. I'm truly thankful for all that your father and others have done for all of us. And still doing for us. My hero is my grandfather he was in the second world war and his father was the first. So the world is a much better place because of all of them!

Many of my Uncles were in WWII, Tom was in Vietnam, and I have a cousin who flew, my son is a Marine, I guess we are just a family who loves freedom and wants to preserve it for future generations. not a bad thing really, freedom comes with a price.

many who fight do not really want to talk about it.....

It is nice you have those pictures. My grandaddy was in WWII. He never talked about it. He had a nasty scar on his arm he always told me he got when a indian shot him with a bow and arrow. Now that I am older I wonder...
