To the Dump
It is raining, not a hard rain but a gentle warm rain which was very much needed. This is the day of The TOPS picnic on our aniversary so I hope the rain will stop in the afternoon. I went to the dump unloading the stuff I put in the car yesterday. There was nothing that would rot, just junk. the dump has beens to throw stuff into problem I am short hard to reach and harder with heavy bags. There was one bag I just couldn't get in and it started to open on the bottom[puncture proof bags may not be so] .so I used the little table with wheels which I was thowing away. I put the bag on it and wheeled it into the building with a pit and in went the bag and I wheeled the table back and threw it into the dumpster. My day has begun.

I know what you mean by being too short for those dumpsters. When I worked in food service I can't even begin to tell you how I hated being the one to take the trash out.

You're short?!! Oh no! I never realized until recently how hard it is. Hubby is out of town and he is 6'4. No problems reaching anything when he is around. This past week... ahhh! Not only am I short, I'm afraid of heights and don't like climbing onto things. Sent here by your Sweetie.. Dr. John.

hello Betty. my what a busy day you had. how i wish that i could just lend you Junior. He is 15 but over 6'2 and since i'm 5'4 he comes in so handy to reach things and carry things...you work hard and always have i know. i hope you got some rest. i'm glad a nice rain came your way. i love those gentle rains, the sound, the smell...i hope it didn't rain in your picnic. i hope it was truly enjoyable.

Feeling better today, until I realized that I really need to dump stuff too! Maybe I'll just go lie down. It's unbelievable how much we accumulate!
